Topics
An alert follows one or more topics: a whole legal area, such as arbeidsrecht, or a specific topic within it, such as ontslag op staande voet. Topics are the same as Feitlijn’s legal areas and topics; see Browse by legal area.
Choose topics
Section titled “Choose topics”When you create or edit an alert, search for a topic or legal area and click it to add it. An alert can have up to 50 topics.
- A legal area catches everything in it; specific topics keep the email focused.
- Hoeveel mails kun je verwachten estimates how often an alert will email you, from rarely to weekly.
How Nina picks judgments
Section titled “How Nina picks judgments”A judgment makes it into your email when:
- Feitlijn has tagged it with one of your topics;
- a law firm has written about it since your last email (or, for your first email, in the past week);
- Nina hasn’t sent it to you for this alert before.
Judgments discussed by more firms come first. Up to five go in the email, plus up to two recent judgments on your topics that no firm has written about yet.
