Check companies against the Handelsregister
Lucy can check the companies on your chart against the KVK Handelsregister, so the names and KVK numbers on the chart match the register. Every register line shows the date it was retrieved.
Add a company before drawing
Section titled “Add a company before drawing”On the matter page, under Companies in this deal:
- Open Add a company and search by company name or KVK number.
- Choose the right registration and click Add company.
Lucy uses it when she draws the chart. If there’s no KVK extract (uittreksel) in the matter yet, Lucy says so and links to the KVK webshop to order one; add the PDF with Upload extract. Lucy only adds companies, not registrations of natural persons.
Link the companies on a drawn chart
Section titled “Link the companies on a drawn chart”Once the chart exists, the same table lists the companies Lucy drew and whether they matched the register. For a company that didn’t match:
- Click Connect KVK.
- Find the registration and click Link.
On the chart itself, open a company and choose Review identity to compare the name in the documents with the register. Click Confirm match, or choose between Keep document identity and Use registered identity. Unlink removes the link.
Add entity is something else
Section titled “Add entity is something else”Add entity on the chart adds a box by hand, for a company or person the documents don’t name. It doesn’t search the Handelsregister. To check that company against the register, link it as described above.
