Open a judgment by ECLI

Have an ECLI from a brief, an article or an email? Open the judgment in Feitlijn directly, without searching.

  1. Click the search bar at the top of any page, or press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows).
  2. Paste the full ECLI, for example ECLI:NL:HR:2026:1595, and press Enter.

Feitlijn opens the case summary. If it hasn’t analysed that judgment yet, it does so first, which can take a moment.

Typed only part of it? Search tells you when what you typed looks like an ECLI but isn’t complete. EU case numbers such as C-311/18 work too.

Every judgment has a stable link you can put in a memo or email:

https://feitlijn.mino.law/fetch/ECLI:NL:HR:2026:1595

It opens the case summary, and analyses the judgment first if needed. To link to the summary as it is, copy the address of the case page, or use Deel deze analyse on it.

Cases cited in the documents of a matter show up in its Feitlijn folder automatically, marked Uit document. See Organise case law in folders.
