Gaps and hearing questions

After the comparison, Garry tells you where the case is vulnerable and what to expect at the hearing.

In the comparison view, click Gaps. Garry lists the weak spots, such as an element of a claim that isn’t established, an argument that goes unanswered, missing evidence or a procedural point. The header counts how many are critical and how many important.

Each gap shows, where Garry recognises it, the legal basis it concerns (article and element), and a Preparation note on how to deal with it.

Click Questions. Garry suggests the questions you’re likely to get, each with:

  • who is likely to ask it: the judge or opposing counsel;
  • the gaps it relates to;
  • Prep: how to prepare your answer;
  • Search: suggestions for finding supporting documents, evidence or case law. For case law, you can use Feitlijn.
