Open a country
Section titled “Open a country”- Go to geo.mino.law and click Or check a country.

Or pick one of the examples under Or explore. GEO covers 227 countries and territories.

What the brief shows
Section titled “What the brief shows”Each section answers one question, with the source records behind it:
| Section | Source |
|---|---|
| Enforcing an award | Status under the New York Convention, from the UN Treaty Collection |
| Getting paid | OECD country risk classification, on a scale of 0 to 7 |
| EU sanctions context | EU sanctions regimes, from the EU Sanctions Map |
| State intervention | World Bank governance scores (0–100) and Dutch travel advice |
| Recent developments & operations | Disasters (GDACS), situation reports (ReliefWeb), travel notices |
Each record shows its dates: when it was published, observed or last updated at the source. Click View evidence for the full record and Open publisher for the original. Travel advice is shown in Dutch, as published by NederlandWereldwijd.
An empty section means the sources have no matching records. It does not mean there is no risk.
How fresh is it?
Section titled “How fresh is it?”When you open a brief, GEO shows the evidence it saved earlier and checks the sources again straight away. This can take a minute.
- Checking sources… Saved evidence is shown below. The check is running.
- Source check complete: every source responded.
- Some sources could not be refreshed. See source details.: the brief uses the last version GEO has of those sources.
Click Source details to see each source and when it was checked. Check again checks them once more.

A source that was checked today can still describe something older: the World Bank scores, for example, are annual. Look at the dates on each record.
