Get started with Feitlijn

Feitlijn summarises Dutch and European case law so you can judge a ruling’s relevance without reading it in full. This page gets you signed in and to your first judgment.

  1. Go to feitlijn.mino.law and click Login at the top right.
  2. Click Sign in with Mino (Inloggen met Mino).
  3. Sign in with your Mino account, or create one on that page. It is the same account you use for the other Mino agents, such as Thea.

Had a Feitlijn account before it moved to Mino? On the sign-in page, click Account terugvinden (recover your account).

You can read judgments without signing in. Saving cases, folders and chat need an account.

After signing in you land on your dashboard. Depending on what you have used so far, it shows:

  • Recent bekeken: the judgments you have open, so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Nieuwe signaleringen: new judgments on the topics you follow with alerts.
  • Workspaces: your folders, each with the latest documents of that matter.
  • Recente chats: your latest conversations about cases.
  • Favorieten: your bookmarked judgments. Click Alles bekijken to see them all.
  • Search: click the search bar at the top of any page, or press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows). Type keywords or an ECLI and press Enter. An ECLI takes you straight to the judgment. More in Search case law.
  • Browse: click Collections in the top bar for curated sets of leading judgments per legal area. See Collections.

A case page opens with the parties and the core of the case. Below it are the analysis sections, such as the summary, the route through the courts, a timeline, the legal analysis, the statutory provisions and blogs about the case. Jump between them with Secties in the left sidebar. See Case Summaries.

  • Click the bookmark icon on a case to add it to your bookmarks (Voeg toe aan Mijn Feitlijn).
  • Click the folder icon (Opslaan in map) to file it under a matter: Save a judgment to a folder.
